The Musicmen Cometh!
This is the marriage of two musical minds, Josh Bain and Nolan Ross. Friends since high school, they've seen the seven wonders of the world, jumped from helicopters, hang-glided, climbed Mt. Everest, and even offered jokes over dinner with Bono, Springsteen, Clapton, and others.
Okay, none of that is true except the friends since high school part. Nonetheless, these guys love music and love talking about it. We hope you enjoy it.
Summer Concerts
Besides the summer being hotter than Satan’s armpit, there are lots of concerts to attend. But who?, you ask. Well, let me answer your question with a notable download. It’s called IConcertCal, and it’s a few years old, but I still find myself mentioning this staggeringly cool plugin for your Itunes. It takes whatever artist you have in your library, and if said artist is in your area, it tells you when and where using the calendar format.
Exhibit A:
There, you can see the month of August, along with several bands and artists that are coming to the Dallas, TX area such as Counting Crows, Bob Dylan, Our Lady Peace, and Paul McCartney, to name a few.
“Never miss a concert again!” is my usual phrasing schtick I say to most people. But that’s not necessarily true because while I have a group like Bat for Lashes in my Itunes, I don’t plan on seeing them in August.
So there you go. Enjoy it and hopefully you can put it to good use this summer.
